I've been taking part in a blog circle to challenge myself a bit. So far the topics have been fairly easy, but this one stumped me. I think it mostly stumped me because I wanted to try something different and think outside of the box; maybe play with shutter speed and a fun toy, or something. Buuut, it never happened, so this will work! These images make me smile.

Delia had her Spring Show at gymnastics this past weekend and got her very first, round medal. She makes me so proud!

I can't believe how much this child has grown in the past year! I took Roman's photos last year for his first birthday and have become good friends with his awesome mom since then. So, I get to watch Roman grow up and it's so fun. He went from having hardly any hair to having a tonnnn. He's talking up a storm and he's turned into a sweet little boy.

He's turning two this weekend, so we headed out to do some photos of him. I've been eyeing this field for at least a year now. It was perfect. Roman had tons of room to run and explore and the light was gorgeous!

Ohhh, sweet B. When I left my house the morning of Berkley's milestone session, it was sunny and the temperature was perfect. By the time I got out to Carolina Beach, the wind was insane and it was freezing!! Berkley was a little trooper. It was her birthday, so they were headed for some fun afterward. They're going to come out to my mini sessions next month...hopefully the weather will cooperate =)

I met Shauna through Stroller Strides about 2 years ago. She's one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. She's always so, so nice and easy to talk to! Her family is definitely one of the cutest.

Keenan and Finnleigh were crazy adorable for our session. I probably told 10 people how sweet and smiley Finnleigh was when I left our session. She smiled. And smiled. And smiled. She was so easygoing and went with the flow without one complaint. And Keenan? He worked it. He had moments when he was completely over it and we let him run. There was land to be discovered. But when we needed him to pull through, he did just that =) He was so much fun. How infectious is his little smile??

We planned to do their session at the Arboretum, but rain was in the forecast along with cold temps so we made a last minute decision to do it in their home. To our surprise, it ended up being overcast but fairly warm so we made our way to the front yard! It was perfect.

I can't believeeeeee how much these boys have grown in the past year! Ally contacted me to take photos for them last year when the boys turned one. They are one of the sweetest families, so I was excited when she emailed me a few months ago to do their two year session.

We headed downtown early this past Friday morning. Elijah had been up since 5 am, so he was a little cuddle bug for most of the session - relaxed and unimpressed with me and my camera. I thought they gave me a good run last year............yeahhhhh, this year Noah was like a little pinball. He had some serious energy to burn, haha! Their parents spent a good bit of time just chasing them around. We were all pretty sweaty by the time we left! 

Elijah and Noah have both turned into such adorable little boys. They've grown taller, their hair is longer and their personalities are even bigger. I hope I get to continue to watch them grow! They are so, so cute. Check out their little bowties!

I posted a small sneak into this session last week. I ended up taking close to 200 photos at Heather's maternity session, which is a tonnn! To give you an idea, I usually take about 100 at a session, give or take a bit. But, we were having fun and just kept shooting! We did the session out at Fort Fisher, so we had tons of variety in location and moved around a bunch. Because of that, her gallery was huuuuge. Admittedly, this is an overshare. I had a tough time narrowing down which ones to blog!

I can't wait for this little boy to be born <3  He's sure to be a cute baby boy.
